Quickie recap:
- Opening number by Wade Robeson featuring the entire cast was a jazzy, hotness-filled number that was beautifully costumed and very well-danced. There were no weak links apparent in the cast.
- Hip-hop number featuring the 3 male dancers in this genre, who are quite different in style, was choreographed by Tabitha & Napoleon. The fellas tore up the stage!!!
- Tyce choreographed 4 of the contemporary dancers in an emotional piece. This was near perfection. Elegant, moving, technically on-point. Fantabulous.
- Next up, a cool moment for the show, the 3 tappers performed a piece by new choreographer Derrick Grant. Well-done, if not a bit less flashy.
- Sonya choreographed the 3 female jazz dancers in a cute, flirty, fun piece.
- The highlight of the show for me was Mandy Moore's contemporary piece. It was jaw-dropping. Technically-speaking, one of the most amazing ever on the show.
- The hottest moment was the final performance. Jason Gilkison choreographed a samba with the 2 female & lone male ballroom dancers. Great music choice, hot costumes, hotter choreography. Great way to end the show.
Here's the top 20.
